HOMER CARBONATITE
Goias, Brazil
Overview
REA has staked a 1,213km²
set of tenements in three
very prospective geophysical
anomalies in the state of
Goias located along Azimuth
125 Lineament, near major
high grade Brazilian alkaline
carbonatite provinces
The Magnetometric
signature is very similar to
other alkaline-carbonatite
complexes in the region
that are renowned for high
grade niobium and
tantalum mineralization
Targets A and B have a
compelling anomaly with a
circular shape, suggesting a
zoned body, with a concentric
ring geometry and diameter of
approximately 17km for target
A and 9 km for Target B
Intense brecciation, giving
rise to polymictic breccia (see
figure below) and monomictic
breccias (towards the center,
see images below), indicating
an active and multiple
subvolcanic system
Overview
The three anomalies at the Homer project
are highly prospective for carbonatite style
niobium and rare earths deposits like Araxá,
Catalão, Mountain Pass and Mount Weld
Vast Niobium reserves are contained along
this Alkaline-Carbonatitic trend
The region is highly prospective for
Carbonatite deposits of potentially
massive scale:
Target A covers 74,926Ha
(9km diameter intrusion )
Target B covers 11,982Ha
(~9km diameter intrusion vs. <4km diameter
intrusion @ Lynas’ Mt. Weld mine)
Target C covers 34,372Ha
